Dr. Amruta completed her Ph.D. at NIMS University India. She has an overall 10+ years of teaching experience in the Caribbean region. Her area of interest is in Determining New Anthropometric Markers for Screening Hypertension and Diabetes in the Caribbean Region. In this project, she has been closely involved with local health fairs and community outreach programs in Saint Lucia and Saint Kitts. She has represented AUA in many National and International conferences and won “BEST ORAL PRESENTATION” awards at the conference.
Currently, she is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anatomy at the American University of Antigua College of Medicine, Antigua, and an MSK1 System Director for Med 1 students.
