He has over 14 years of teaching, research experience, and contributions to medical education. He is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Pathophysiology. He has been actively involved in research projects involving determining new anthropometric markers in the screening of Diabetes and hypertension. In this project, he has been closely involved with community outreach in Saint Lucia and Saint Kitts. He has also collaborated with other institutions to research antibiotic resistance in Klebsiella species.
In the past, he has also extensively worked on research on the Quality of life in Chronic pancreatitis Patients. He was also involved in various preclinical and animal studies- Hepatoprotective, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, local anesthetic, wound healing, and burn wound healing models.
