Dr. Raja Parthiban Saravana Rajendran was born in Bangalore, India. He completed his graduation in medicine (MBBS) from Government Medical College, Bellary, Karnataka, India in 1996 and post graduation in Pathology (MD) from JJM Medical College, Davangere, Karnataka, India in 2002.
Dr. Raja has more than 19 years of teaching and research experience at various medical colleges in South India and during this period has guided many undergraduate students and postgraduates in Pathology. He currently has been working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Pathology at American University of Antigua (AUA) – College of Medicine since August 2022. His fields of interest include oncopathology and cytopathology with special interest in epidemiology, dermatopathology, hepatopathology, breast pathology, neuropathology and infectious diseases
Dr. Raja has delivered talks at various national and international CME’s, conferences and workshops across India and has served as a member of the several professional organizations such as a member of the academic council of Adichunchungiri university, Treasurer of the Academy of Pathology and an executive committee member of the Karnataka Chapter of Pathologists and Microbiologists at India.
Dr. Raja has authored more than 36 publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals and has reviewed pathology textbooks and scientific articles for reputed indexed journals and publishers.
