On August 25th, AUA partnered with the Rotary Club of Antigua Sundown Pediatric to host the 3rd Annual Pediatric Health Village. The health fair provided vision, dental, and general medical screenings for children between the ages of 5 and 18. A nutritionist was also available to discuss the importance of healthy eating habits.
Two groups from AUA volunteered at the event. The AUA Asthma League provided information on asthma, which commonly affects children in the target group, and the AUA EMTC offered Hands-Only CPR training. Fun activities, bounce castles, and trampolines kept children entertained while they waited to be screened.
AUA would like to thank all the volunteers who made the health fair possible!
