The institution currently utilizes a Split Model of advising, as defined by the National Academic Advising Association, or the Global Community for Academic Advising. Within this framework, students are afforded the opportunity to interact with faculty advisors, as well as professional advisors within the school’s Clinical Education Enhancement Department (C-EED). The C-EED uses the Appreciative Advising model when working with students. Students can interact with any C-EED faculty advisor they choose. Advising is designed to foster close faculty and student interactions that promote holistic student development and provide institutional guidance.
