Housekeeping About Us

At AUA the Housekeeping Department is staffed by a team of twenty one line staff and one supervisor.

Our cleaning task is divided into three (3) categories:-

• Maintenance Cleaning (cleaning up after construction)
• Thorough Cleaning (daily)
• Seasonal cleaning (deep cleaning at the end of every semester)

 Some of our daily task includes:

• Sweeping
• Mopping floors
• Scrubbing floors and other surfaces
• Polishing furniture
• Emptying and cleaning trash containers
• Disposing trash in a sanitary matter
• Cleaning windows
• Cleaning restrooms
