Before a medical student graduates with an MD, they must transition from pre-clinical to clinical sciences – a shift from learning theory, to putting that theory into practice in a real medical environment. When this happens, many med schools hold a White Coat Ceremony.
AUA is no different. We held our own white coat ceremony on September 29 2018, with a keynote address by Paul R. G. Cunningham, M.D., F.A.C.S. Students donned their white coats, took selfies, and celebrated the beginning of their clinical rotations.
