On August 23rd, AUA hosted a Residency Workshop at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Bell, the Executive Dean of Clinical Sciences, chaired the event.
Dr. Bell led a discussion on navigating ERAS, selecting the right residency program, obtaining Letters of Recommendation, and writing a great personal statement. Dr. Bell also covered how programs select candidates to interview, how to ace the interview, and how to create a rank list. Faculty presenters included Dr. R. Dobbin Chow from University of Maryland Medical Center Midtown Campus, Dr. Mark Adler from Interfaith Medical Center, and Dr. William Anthony, the former Program Director from Maryland General Hospital.
