Before earning an MD, AUA students are just like the rest of us: if they want to contribute to public health, their most effective option is to donate blood. On November 15th, they did just that.
From 1pm to 6pm in Classroom 6, the EMIG Student Club hosted a blood drive in collaboration with Clublyfe268, an Antiguan organization devoted to increasing the island nation’s critically low blood supply. Students happily took pictures with nurses while their blood was drawn.
If you’re able to and have time, consider donating blood at a blood drive near you. It’s one of the easiest and most impactful ways to contribute to public health.
