Please note that effective today, July 13<\/span>th<\/sup><\/span>, a new policy and procedure will be implemented for the purpose of salary assignments.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
The customary procedure for salary assignments relating to the <\/span>Banking Institutions<\/u><\/b><\/span> has not changed, however, <\/span>employees will now be required to take home a minimum of <\/span>40% <\/b><\/span>of their gross monthly wages. Therefore, salary assignments will not be accepted if the employee\u2019s wages will fall below this minimum requirement. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
The new policy and procedure applicable to <\/span>Non-Banking Finance Houses<\/u><\/b><\/span> is as follows:<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\u00b7<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>Employees will be allowed only one (1) salary assignment at a time.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\u00b7<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>A fee of <\/span>$35<\/b><\/span> will be charged as a one-time processing fee for the life cycle of each salary assignment.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\u00b7<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>Employees will be required to take home a minimum of <\/span>40% <\/b><\/span>of their gross monthly wages. Therefore, salary assignments will not be accepted if the employee\u2019s wages will fall below this minimum requirement.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\u00b7<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>There will be no provision for re-financing during the life of a loan.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\u00b7<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>All salary assignments must be authorized by the Human Resources Coordinator. In the absence of the HR Coordinator, authorization must be given by the VP for Administration.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
